Argentina keeps UTC−3 all year, so sunset simply drifts from about seven to past seven.

Not yet. The Buenos Aires city government says the jacarandas flower "cada noviembre", each November, starting early in the month and lasting about four weeks. The city has 18,922 of them and made the jacaranda its signature tree in 2015. In October they are still in bud, so build the trip around Casa FOA, Open House and arteba instead. Early October for architecture, late October for art. Open House Buenos Aires opens more than 200 buildings on 3 and 4 October, mostly on foot, and the same Sunday IRONMAN 70.3 runs through the Bosques de Palermo. Feria Puro Diseño fills La Rural from the 9th to the 11th, followed by the Monday 12 October holiday. Late October brings Pinta BAphoto at La Rural from the 22nd to the 25th, then arteba's public days from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November, moved forward for Pope Leo XIV's visit. November is warmer, and it has the jacarandas. Our November guide reads NOAA's record for Aeroparque, on the river, and gives 25°C / 77°F by day and 17°C / 63°F at night. This page reads SMN's normals for the Observatorio in the city centre: 23°C / 73°F and 13°C / 55°F. The stations differ, so compare the two loosely. On SMN's own table, October has more rain days than November and more strong-wind days. October wants a wool blazer and an umbrella; November swaps them for an unlined blazer and a later night.
A step up from the weather. Porteño dressing runs closer to Milan than to a beach city, so a 23°C / 73°F spring afternoon in Palermo means a blazer over a knit, trousers with a real waist or a midi skirt, and leather loafers rather than shorts and sneakers.
